Education ICTs:  Mobile Learning: mobile devices with internet access and computing capabilities will soon overtake personal computers as the information appliance of choice in the classroom. Cloud Computing: provides the ubiquitous connectivity to access information sitting in the “cloud”. Ubiquitous learning: In addition to hardware and Internet access, it requires the availability of virtual mentors or teachers, and/or opportunities for peer to peer and self-paced, deeper learning. One-to-One computing: Whether the hardware involved is one laptop per child (OLPC), or – increasingly -- a net computer, smart phone, or the re-emergence of the tablet , classrooms should prepare for the universal availability of personal learning devices. Personalized learning: This focus transforms a classroom from one that teaches to the middle to one that adjusts content and pedagogy based on individual student needs – both strong and weak. Teacher-generated open content: OECD school sys...

"The Good Place" My favorite TV Show is called "The Good Place", it is about a woman that dies and gets into "heaven" but realizes that there has been a misake because she is supposed to be in hell, so she tries to be a good person, but she causes a lot of problems. Later on she realizes that she is actually not in the good place, she is in the bad place but the people in charge are trying to make her life miserable while they make her think that she is in the good place. I like this show because it is really funny and the history is very well developed. Trailer S1:

Information and Communication Technologies

“Information and Communication Technologies” Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) refer to the networking components, applications, systems and all devices that allow people and organizations to interact in the digital world. People use ICT in their everyday lives, but the ones that use them the most are companies, schools and organizations, because they need them to communicate with the world, not only because they need them to communicate, but also because ICT have a great impact socially and economically. Institutions agree that the ones without ICT are left out of the multiple opportunities and benefits that come with it. Even tho that there are many benefits there are also disadvantages like the new levels of crime where they can steal your identity or steal money. I do use Information and Communication Technologies in my every day life, sometimes I don’t even realize that I am using ICT, but nowadays most things are based on them, like social media and even sch...
